"Golden Pearls" is a revolutionary new larval diet used with great success by marine aquacultures worldwide. Originated from Belgium, "Golden Pearls" are manufactured through a patented process which micro - encapsulates feed particles with tiny air bubbles. Thus giving it unprecedented suspension capability in water column to maximize feeding ratios by corals in reef tank or larvae in hatcheries.
Another innovative process which gives "Golden Pearls" the edge, is the agglomeration of micro-encapsulated particles to produce larger particles (50-100 µm, 100-200 µm, 100-200 µm, 200-300 µm, 300-500 µm, 500-800 µm). This technology enables the production of highly palatable and digestible diet that mimics live Baby Brine Shrimp.
Advantages : "Golden Pearls" are specially formulated to contain encapsulated soluble proteins which are highly digestible and essential to the early developmental stages for shrimp and fish larvae.
Due to the high buoyancy of the micro - capsules, "Golden Pearls" remains suspended in the water column for longer period.
Capsules are protected by a very efficient protein wall, reducing the possibility of leaching.
The formulation technique allows the production of strong units of various sizes. In general, particles composed of multiple smaller capsules are much stronger and digestible as compared to a single large capsule.
Available Microns Sizes : 05 - 050 µm ( Particulate Diet ) 50 - 100 µm ( Rotifer Replacement ) 100 - 200 µm ( Adult Rotifer Replacement ) 500 - 800 µm ( Baby Brine Shrimp Replacement )
Ingredients : High quality fish meals, crustacean meal, purified fish oils, phospholipids, astaxanthin, vitamins and protected minerals, antioxidants, and immunostimulants

* Though Brine Shrimp is known as an excellent feed source, it is however deficient in "Essential Fatty Acids (EFA)". EFA is has been specifically included as an essential ingredient of "Golden Pearls" to make up the shortfall, making it an excellent substitute for Brine Shrimp.
